Beyond the Binary

Service Description

From the clothes we wear to the roles we’re expected to play, gender shows up in every part of life—and often in ways we’ve never paused to question. This workshop invites you to go deeper: to explore your own relationship to gender and unlearn the limits of the binary so we can better support trans and nonbinary people in our communities. Through self-reflection and shared storytelling, we’ll look at how each of us has been shaped by gender norms—and how understanding ourselves can help us build more inclusive, affirming spaces for everyone. This session is open to all willing to reflect and learn—no prior knowledge needed. Together, we will: -Reflect on how gender identity and expression show up in our own lives - Learn inclusive language and practices that affirm trans and nonbinary people - Challenge the limitations of the gender binary - Practice allyship rooted in awareness, humility, and everyday action - Explore how self-understanding can deepen our connection to others
